About Me

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Laetitia Loo is a visual artist based in Michigan with a focus on painting, photography, and mixed-media work. She is currently attending Kalamazoo College for a BA in Studio Arts and Psychology. Loo's work explores themes of identity and self-discovery, portrayed through gestural abstraction and colour.

Loo’s work was first displayed at Kalamazoo's Art Hop in May of 2022 and has appeared in subsequent Art Hop galleries and Kalamazoo College Art Department shows. Her work has also been exhibited in multiple group shows, including “I Want You To Care”, “You Gotta Do Something, You Gotta Contribute”, and “J-OAN-N”. Laetitia’s first solo exhibition, “Residuals”, was displayed in May of 2025. 

 

Loo has since continued her work in freelance graphic design, helping peers and local arts communities with program and promotional design.
